The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home having a combined gross house income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
